This is a wreath of special significance for us as Abbey and Heather's grandfather served as a Lancaster bomber pilot through WW2. We hand make these wreaths with love, using high quality artificial ferns, green sedum, fresh looking faux hydrangea foliage and of course red poppies, which signify remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. Designed to last many ANZAC days, we include a wooden box for safe storage. The red velvet bow is included and for every wreath sold we will donate $20 to the poppy day appeal (see more below). A metal door hanger (in black or white) is an optional extra.
 
Note - These wreaths are hand-crafted and may differ slightly from the image. To extend the life of your hand-made artificial wreath, we recommend careful handling, not exposing it to external elements for extended periods (wind, rain, direct sun), and using the storage box provided when not in use.

Poppy Day is the RNZRSA's main fundraising activity. Donations collected on Poppy Day help them improve the health and well-being outcomes for New Zealand's veterans of all ages. The RSA was established in 1916 with the aim of taking care of New Zealand’s veterans and their families as soldiers returned from Gallipoli. While today’s soldiers face different challenges, their support to them and their family continues.  This year they celebrate 103 years of the Poppy Appeal – with the Poppy campaign running throughout the month of April.
