Heather’s 1 of 1 Studio Edit is a weekly release of singular, one-of-a-kind faux arrangements, each designed and made just once in our studio. This series allows Heather the freedom to express herself creatively, designing artistic, sculptural pieces guided by intuition, material, and moment — without repetition or constraint. Each arrangement is created for 'one space only'. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
 
Inspiration
During the winter months, our Starwars Magnolia Tree becomes a beautiful focal point in the garden, covered in delicate pink blooms that brighten the cooler days and bring a sense of anticipation for the season ahead. It was this winter display and the discovery of these near identical 'faux' pink magnolia flowers that inspired this arrangement. Alongside this, John and Abbey’s recent trip to Singapore provided another layer of inspiration, with the photographs they shared of beautifully styled hotel lobbies, with their sculptural botanical forms and understated luxury. 

Design Intent
Designed to feel sculptural yet effortless, this arrangement balances architectural foliage with softer botanical elements to create a composition that is both contemporary and timeless. The sweeping flax leaves establish elegant movement, while the vibrant lime green pom pom carnations introduce texture and freshness. Finished with planted delicate syngonium foliage and presented in a sophisticated black vase, the arrangement captures a sense of calm, balance, and understated luxury.

The Details
Gracefully shaped flax leaves create the architectural framework of the design, complemented by the playful texture of lime green pom pom carnations and the soft trailing form of variegated Syngonium foliage. Every stem has been carefully positioned to create movement and negative space, allowing each botanical element to be appreciated individually while contributing to the overall sculptural silhouette. The matte black vase provides a striking contrast, giving the arrangement a refined, contemporary finish inspired by luxury hospitality interiors.
