Heather’s 1 of 1 Studio Edit is a weekly release of singular, one-of-a-kind faux arrangements, each designed and made just once in our studio. This series allows Heather the freedom to express herself creatively, designing artistic, sculptural pieces guided by intuition, material, and moment — without repetition or constraint. Each arrangement is created for 'one space only'. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
 
Inspiration
Bridgerton! It’s hard not to get carried away in this world where romance, opulence, and dramatic beauty define every setting! The show’s lush ballroom scenes and stately garden parties are a visual feast! Not only did the visual aspects inspire me but I realised that the sweeping orchestral music was playing in the background of my mind as this arrangement came to life!
 
Design Intent
The goal of this arrangement is to evoke the grandeur and romance with a sense of dramatic, elegance. It is meant to feel overflowing, opulent and rich. The design blends structure with natural movement, creating a statement piece that feels both curated and effortlessly abundant.
 
The Details
The composition feels grand, feminine, and unmistakably regal. Stunning large, velvety dahlias (that I can’t get enough of) and ranunculus in deep burgundy and crimson provide the dramatic foundation. Soft mauve roses add a gentle, romantic contrast. Tall foxgloves and delphiniums bring height and movement, sweet pea blooms delicately dance through the other blooms adding warmth and whimsy, enhancing the garden style elegance. Cascading amaranthus was arranged to give a luxurious cascading texture and flow. Lush green foliage frames and supports the faux florals, giving the piece a full, immersive presence. I have chosen a classic black urn to ground the design, giving it a stately, period inspired feel.
 
Where It Works Best
This arrangement is front facing, meaning it needs to be positioned in front of a wall or partition. Perfect for an entryway or foyer, large hallway or in a living room. This arrangement celebrates flowers, and colour and provides an emotional connection to a world of beauty, so would sit elegantly in a refined and luxurious home, or in a boutique hotel (or anywhere where a feeling of calm indulgence and relaxation and care is needed).
