Heather’s 1 of 1 Studio Edit is a weekly release of singular, one-of-a-kind faux arrangements, each designed and made just once in our studio. This series allows Heather the freedom to express herself creatively, designing artistic, sculptural pieces guided by intuition, material, and moment — without repetition or constraint. Each arrangement is created for 'one space only'. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
 
Inspiration
This grand sized arrangement draws inspiration from the untamed beauty of botanical gardens and the dramatic silhouettes found in nature. Bold, immersive, and richly layered, the design celebrates the interplay between sculptural form and organic movement. A palette of warm hues nestled amongst abundant greenery creates a sense of depth and richness, while the scale of the arrangement evokes a feeling of grandeur and presence.
 
Design Intent
Standing approximately 1.6 metres tall and 1.3 metres wide, the intention behind this arrangement was to create a statement piece that feels both architectural and organic. The design embraces asymmetry, allowing sculptural foliage, branching forms, and layered botanical elements to create movement and visual interest. Rich textures and warm tonal variations work together to create a composition that feels dramatic, sophisticated, and deeply connected to nature.
 
The Details
A framework of lush green foliage establishes the arrangement's impressive scale and structure, while sculptural botanical elements, and a beautifully shaped metal black vase introduce rhythm and dimension throughout the composition. Warmer tones are woven amongst the greenery, creating contrast and richness without overwhelming the natural palette.

This style of arrangement is ideally suited to interiors that embrace scale, texture, and strong design statements.
