Heather’s 1 of 1 Studio Edit is a weekly release of singular, one-of-a-kind faux arrangements, each designed and made just once in our studio. This series allows Heather the freedom to express herself creatively, designing artistic, sculptural pieces guided by intuition, material, and moment — without repetition or constraint. Each arrangement is created for 'one space only'. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
 
Inspiration
This piece was actually inspired by the vessels themselves. I was drawn to their organic shapes and soft, sculptural lines, and rather than treating them as separate containers, I designed the arrangement with the intention that they be used together. The two vases really enhance one another — the lower, rounded form grounds the design, while the taller vessel allows for height and movement.

The Details 
Not wanting to distract from the beauty of these vases I limited the colour palette and used strong, architectural foliage to echo the structure of the vessels, letting the broad, glossy bird-nest fern leaves mirror the organic shapes and soft sculptural lines. While moss and delicate ferns relax the edges and connect everything back to that organic base. It’s lush, but feels light. 

Where It Works Best 
These arrangements are beautiful viewed on a large, low coffee table where you can appreciate the layering from above, or styled as they are photographed on a console where the height and movement can really come into their own. They need a little breathing space so the relationship between the two vessels and the organic shape of the design can truly be seen.
